Introduction

A scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSOP). All areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

On the inspection date of October 5, 2020 there were 3 children and the Licensee was present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. Actions required by the licensee include no further action required and actions required by the LO include no further action required. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed. This inspection report and risk assessment was completed off site and emailed to the facility the following day. Additionally a COVID-19 Infection Control Assessment was completed and a copy was shared with the Licensee during the inspection. The following education/recommendations were provided: Health & Hygiene Practices Cleaning & Sanitizing Practices Social Distancing Practices Precautions and Practices for Sick Children The following resources were provided: Resource Package for Childcare Facilities – COVID-19 Prevention Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
