Introduction

An unscheduled inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection At the inspection dated January 22,2020 there were 67 children and 12 staff present. Licensee stated that there are approximately 115 children registered in the programs. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. Licensing conducted a walk-through of the entire facility. Licensing discussed location of emergency equipment. The following education/recommendations were provided: · Active Supervision · Lead in the Water The following resources were provided: · Reportable Incident Bulletin Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
