306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: A white powdery substance was observed on the floor near the chest freezer and below the shelf with spaghetti noodles. The staff member could not identify the substance. Corrective Action(s): Clean the floor to remove the white substance; Correct by tomorrow. Note: Ensure that chemical bait is not used inside the food premises. Only use sticky traps and/or mechanical devices to capture pests. Violation Score: 3

Cooler containing eggs was 4 degrees C or less. Pop cooler was above 4 degrees C however is only being used for pop. Chest freezers were -18 degrees C or less. **Note: Receipts were not available on-site for the salted duck eggs. Please email the area E.H.O. a copy of the receipt/invoice within 1 week and/or have this information present on-site for the next follow up inspection this week.
