Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Plastic disposable cup of water was stored in the ice used for making beverages.
2) Scoops were found stored directly inside ingredients.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Do not store anything in the ice used for making beverages. Containers may potentially contaminate ice. Cup was removed at the time of inspection.
2) Ensure scoops are stored in a sanitary manner to prevent potential contamination of ingredients. Scoops were removed at the time of inspection.

Observation: Door seal for the prep cooler is beginning to break again.
Corrective Action(s): Repair cooler door seal to prevent accumulation of debris and to prevent loss of cold refrigeration air.

309 - Chemicals, cleansers, & similar agents stored or labeled improperly [s. 27]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Two bottles labelled Quats was found to contain orange cleaning solution and one bottle of blue solution was unlabelled.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all chemicals are properly labelled to prevent accidental mixing or misuse of chemicals. Containers were emptied and refilled with Quats sanitizing solution measured at 200ppm at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Both upright glass door coolers were at 4C.
-Prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Under counter freezer was at -12C.
-Hot holding of hot dogs was at 60C.
-Accurate thermometers present in cold holding units.
-Temperatures are checked and recorded daily. Ensure corrective actions are documented when temperatures exceed critical limits.
-Chemical dishwasher had a final rinse of 100ppm chlorine on the dish surface (minimum 50ppm required for proper sanitizing).
-Glass washer had a final rinse of 12.5ppm iodine on the glass surface (minimum 12.5ppm required for proper sanitizing).
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Ice machine clean and well maintained.
-Foods stored off the floor and covered. Raw meats stored below ready-to-eat foods.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-FoodSafe Level 1 valid until Dec 09, 2021.
