Observation:
Found rodent droppings on the floor between pallets in the warehouse area.
Corrective Action(s):
The following actions shall be taken:
1) Clean up the droppings and use hot water and bleach to sanitize the areas touching the droppings.
2) Ensure there is 6" of space between pallets and walls, and between pallets that back onto each other.
3) Increase the frequency at which the professional pest company treats the facility to rid of the rodents. Only use mechanical means inside the facility.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Coolers 1C; thermometers present; and temperatures monitored daily.
- All foods stored 6" off the floor on pallets or on racks.
- No expired foods found. FIFO rules being followed.
- A professional pest company is contracted to monitor the facility on a monthly basis. Increase the treatments/visits to eliminate the rodents.
- General sanitation level is good.
