Corrective Action(s): Ensure two adequately sized sink plugs are available at the food premises for the 2-compartment sink for manual warewashing of the reusable coffee filters.

Comments

Routine inspection of the food store:
-Walk-in-cooler (containing milk) and sandwich cooler were at or below 4 degrees C.
-Light cover inside the walk-in-cooler was encased in a shatter-resistant cover. Fan covers appeared clean.
-Upright freezer was at or below -18 degrees C.
-Refrigeration units were equipped with thermometers.
-Designated handsink was supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
-2-compartment sink was supplied with hot and cold running water. Manual wash, rinse, sanitize, and air dry method was reviewed for the coffee filter baskets.
-Cleaning and sanitizing inner surfaces of the slurpie machine is contracted out according to the Operator.
-No signs of recent pest activity were evident at the time of inspection.
-Pest control program is in place according to the Operator.

Note: Operator was unsure where staff from last evening placed the bleach bottle. Ensure to obtain a new household bleach bottle today to setup 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer (1/2 teaspoon 5% household bleach per L of water) if you are unable to find the previous bottle.
