Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Knives found on knife rack with build up of debris on knife in vegetable preparation area. Build up of debris on knife rack as well - CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION - Items cleaned and sanitized during inspection.

209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation: 1) Shatter Guard missing for P2 freezer light. Replace freezer light shatter guard.
2) Food repackaging occurring on P2 just outside of freezer. Lack of handsink. Cease all food repackaging in this area. No food repackaging is to be occurring in a space not properly designed and adequately supplied with the proper facilities. A sink for handwashing is required for all repackaging of food items.Single use gloves observed in area however these alone are insufficient. Hand sink must also be supplied to area.

Corrective Action(s): Determine more suitable area for re-packaging. Health inspector to verify suitability of new proposed location.

Observation: Much rice has spilled on floor of food storage area on Level 2. Ensure this is cleaned as much as possible. Rice is highly attractive to pests and will contribute to a pest infestation.

Organize storage areas. Many boxes on floor which makes cleaning difficult and monitoring for pests difficult.

Clean floors under produce stands.
