Observation: There's a gap in between the 2 sliding doors even when the doors are closed in the dining area (door leading into the patio); there's a hole in the wall around the pipes in the janitor room that's beside the staff lunch room.
Corrective Action(s): Seal both holes as mentioned in the pest control report. These reports must be reviewed by management and any issues mentioned must be addressed in a timely manner.

Comments

General Observations:
Walk-in Cooler temperature was 2 degC; Upright cooler temperature was 4 degC
Walk-in freezer temperature was -16 degC (foods inside were frozen to the touch)
Hand sink was fully equipped
200ppm Quats was available for use.
Temperature logs were being maintained
No foods were being hotheld at the time of the inspection with the exception of those being saved for residents that didn't show up for lunch. The temperature of these foods were around 40 degC, but they were to be discarded.
Dishwasher rinse was 71 degC at the plate level after over 4 tries. ENSURE DISHWASHER IS ADEQUATELY WARMED UP PRIOR TO USE.
A pest control is on contract, however structural concerns noted on the report have not been addressed since April 2023! ALL RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE PEST CONTROL COMPANY MUST BE ADDRESSED IN A TIMELY MANNER.
