201 - Food contaminated or unfit for human consumption [s. 13] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 3 bags of onion found stored on the wooden shelf noted with severe rodent contamination and small fly contamination. Rodent urine, rub marks, droppings were all noted on the wooden shelf the onions were stored on. Corrective Action(s): Discard onions immediately and do not use any of the wooden shelves until they have been cleaned and sanitized. Re-inspection from district Environmental Health Officer is required. Date to be corrected: today Violation Score: 25 301 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Wooden shelves in dry storage room used to store dry goods were heavily contaminated by rodents. 304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)] Observation: Severe rodent contamination noted in the dry storage area. Large amount of small flies, rodent urine, rodent rub marks, and rodent droppings were noted. All noted on the bottom level of the wooden shelves Corrective Action(s): Contact pest control provider to provide an action plan on eradicating the pest problem. Rodent droppings should be noted as part of the service. Date to be corrected :today Violation Score: 15 305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)] Observation: 1) Back door does not appear to be tightly sealed. This is a rodent entry point and needs to be eliminated. 2) Wooden shelf with the kick plate needs to be removed. Signs of rodent harborage underneath the shelf are apparent and the harbourage needs to be eliminated. Corrective Action(s): 1) Seal the back door to prevent entry of rodents. 2) Remove wooden kickplate of the wooden shelf. Date to be corrected: today Violation Score: 15 311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)] Observation: Broken skylight has not been fixed.
