Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Walk-in cooler had an ambient temperature of 9C at the time of inspection. Staff informed that they had called a technician in this morning who claimed to have fixed the issue but the temperature was still above 4C. Most contents of the cooler had been relocated to the front preparation coolers. The cooler contained some chopped vegetables and whole produce.
Corrective Action(s): All chopped items were moved to the front coolers. Do not store potentially hazardous foods inside the walk in cooler until it can maintain at least 4C. Date to be corrected by: June 23, 2023. Inspector will return to follow-up.

Front under counter coolers are maintaining 4C.
Sandwich coolers (inserts) are maintaining 4C.
Walk-in freezer is functional and maintaining -18C.
Thermometers are available.

Sanitation:
200 ppm QUATS is available.
QUATS dispenser is functional.
Hand washing sink is equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and disposable paper towels.
3-compartment sink is equipped with plugs. It was set up for dishwashing at the time of inspection. 3rd sink had 200 ppm QUATS.

General:
Facility is monitored by a professional pest control company on a monthly basis.
No pest activity noted at the time of inspection.
Staff have valid Food Safe level 1 certification.
