Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The hand washing sink in the washroom had bar soap.
Corrective Action(s): The operator replaced the bar soap with a liquid soap bottle at the time of inspection. Bar soap can only be for personal use. They must not be shared between staff members.

Observation: Several frozen baked goods were unlabelled and packaged in clear bags. The operator provided a hand written reciept of the products in question. The vendor's contact information was not written on the reciept. Operator provided the vendor's business card.
Corrective Action(s): Contact the vendor to obtain invoices that include the manufacturer's contact information. Food items must be labelled as per the Health Canada label requirements. Date to be corrected by: July 23, 2021

Comments

Routine inspection of the food store conducted.

Temperatures:
- Display cooler was at 4C
- Display freezers were at or below -18C

All cooler units had accurate thermometers.

General:
- Facility is overall maintained in good sanitary condition.
- No signs of pest activity noted.
- Randomly selected items were well within their best before dates.
Ensure boxes of food items are not stored on the floor. They should be kept at least 6" off the floor to facilitate cleaning.
