Comments

Inspection result of a small fire which occurred on April 20 around 1:30pm. The main roller oven (front section) caught fire due to sesame seeds and lubricant catching fire from hot oven surface. The fire was extinguished within 15 min. Fire dept followed up within minutes and gave approval to occupy the plant within 1.5 hours. All open food items were discarded. All surfaces and equipment were cleaned/sanitized. Canada Bread's Emergency response plan was followed during the fire. No soot/smoke observed on any surface or area in the bakery. No further concerns. The plant is operating as usual.
