304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)] Observation: - Cockroaches still observed on the glueboards placed on grease trap. Different growth stages (including nymph) observed. Corrective Action(s): - Hire a third party pest control company to visit the premises 2X a month. Ensure to have treatment done for cockroach control. Place glue boards around the perimeter of the processing area - between the wall and pipes on the floor. Operator to provide a detailed pest control report during the follow up inspection. Corrections made: - Clean up has been done. - Display meat cooler (right side) now maintaining ambient temperature at 4C or below. - Tiles around the floor drain has been repaired. - Bleach sanitizer measured at 200ppm - label the bottle as "SANITIZER". Another bottle with pure bleach is present - staff stated this is used for cleaning floors only. Corrections still required: - Left side cooler for drinks (top two rows) still measured at 10C - 17C. Operator confirmed that the fan at the bottom is broken and not operating. Technician coming in today. Bottom three shelves at 4C or below. - New butcher's block is being shipped. It will arrive next week as per the operator. Follow up inspection to take place to ensure above corrections are completed.
