A follow-up inspection was completed:
- Paper towel dispensers present and full at both handwashing sinks.
- High temperature dishwasher was serviced and parts are on order. Replacement nozzles, wash temp. gauge, and metal track to be replaced. The rinse cycle temp was above 85C, as per temp gauge.
- Rodent activity has decreased since pest technician placed more mechanical traps in the kitchen, and spread non-toxic dust in non-food areas of the facility (offices & external buildings). The dust has a 2 month residual life.
- Sanitation level has improved since the past inspection. Rodent droppings, on shelves, in the dry storage room are minimal.
ACTION
1) Rodent droppings found on the floor under shelving units in the dry storage room and freezer room. Staff must sweep and sanitize (spray with bleach + water solution) this area IN THE MORNING, and at the end of the day.
2) Once the paper towel dispenser arrives, install it to the wall adjacent to the handwashing sink.
2) Forward an email, to our office, to confirm completion of repairs to the dishwasher once the parts have arrived. |
