Observation: Downstairs storage area recently underwent a flood and is currently in the remediation process -company doing the remediation process indicates the area should be repaired in about 1 month.

Corrective Action(s): No foods are to be stored in the open in this area until the remediation process is fully completed. Food may only be stored in the available fridge/freezer cavities -as per usual this area is not to be used for food processing.

Inquire with your remediation company if they are asbestos certified and weather or not you require Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) -i.e. N95 masks or higher grade. If you require this sort of protection then NO food storage would be allowed until the remediation process is fully completed.

Follow-up with me within the week after you have discussed this with the remediation company.
