Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

At the inspection dated March 30, 2023 there were 8 children, 1 staff, and the Manager/Licensee was present. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy was sent to the Manager.

The following was discussed:
-The reportable incident reporting procedure.
-The current cleaning protocols that are in place
-Preventing lead in the water
-Adding an ice pack to the first aid kit
-The maintenance plan in place for replacing punctured tiles at the facilty

The inspection findings were reviewed with the Manager at the inspection. A copy of these documents were sent to the Manager. If you have any questions regarding this report please contact me.
