Observation: Flour and sugar is being stored in large containers with lids. These are not food grade and not easy to clean.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to store all food ingredients in FOOD GRADE containers with tight fitting lids. This will protect food ingredients from contamination and are reuseable.

315 - Refrigeration units and hot holding equipment lack accurate thermometers [s. 19(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Walkin cooler had thermometer that was not operating properly during time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): New thermometer was placed in walk in cooler by operator during time of inspection.

Comments

Handwashing stations equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.

The following items have been corrected from last inspection:
1. No pest issues noted during time of inspection. Screen door has been repaired. Note: New screen door is on order and will be installed for next inspection.
2. Facility has been thoroughly cleaned under hard to reach areas, coolers and under equipment. Shelves have been reorganized so that all food items are protected from contamination.
3. Mop bucket and mop have been moved. Mop bucket is now stored under the dishwashing sink. Mops are stored separately from food prep areas.
4. No open containers found during time of inspection. All food items are now in containers with lids. Ensure all food containers are food grade. (see above noted violation for more details).

The following items require operators attention:
1. See above noted violation(s).
2. Ensure to set up and implement a cleaning schedule that can be followed to ensure sanitation plan is followed regularly.
