Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Tomato slicer and plastic funnels located on clean storage shelving were observed with dried on food debris.
Corrective Action(s): Items were placed into 3-compartment sink to be washed and sanitized at time of inspection. Ensure that all equipment and utensils are maintained in sanitary condition to limit potential contamination of food items.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. A scoop was observed with the handle in the food product in the front preparation cooler inserts.
2. Personal items (bags, clothing) were stored directly above and in contact with dry storage food items.
3. A bag of quinoa and packages of bottled drinks were stored on the ground.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Ensure that all scoops are stored in a manner that prevents potential contamination of food (e.g. with handles outside of the food product).
2. Ensure that all personal items are stored separately from food items to limit potential contamination of food. Additional shelving may need to be installed.
3. All food items must be stored off the ground to facilitate proper cleaning and to limit potential contamination. Install additional shelving as required.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A single use plastic scoop is used for scooping avocado at the front preparation cooler.
Corrective Action(s): Plastic scoop removed. Single use containers and utensils are not designed for re-use and cannot be adequately washed and sanitized.

315 - Refrigeration units and hot holding equipment lack accurate thermometers [s. 19(2)]
Observation: Red indicator fluid is separated in thermometer located in back area prep cooler.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that a properly functioning thermometer accurate to 1 degree C is provided for this unit in order to verify temperatures. Date to be corrected by: June 22, 2018.

- Hot holding internal temperatures at 60 degrees C or more
- Hand washing station is accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
- Quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) sanitizer available at 200 ppm in labeled spray bottles, a labeled bucket, and in third compartment of ware washing sinks. Wiping cloths stored in sanitizer. Three sink plugs available for manual ware washing. Quats test strips available.
- Ice machine in sanitary condition. Scoop stored safely outside of machine.
- Discussed cleaning and sanitizing of yogurt machine--satisfactory.
- No signs of pest activity observed at time of inspection
- Washrooms maintained in clean condition
- FOODSAFE requirements met at time of inspection
- Temperature records maintained
