Introduction

A scheduled inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSOP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

At this inspection dated May 13, 2020, there were 3 children, the Manager and 1 staff present. At this inspection, no contraventions were identified.

The following was discussed with the Manager:
· COVID-19 prevention strategies
· Snack and mealtimes
· Fire drills
· Outdoor play space

As part of the routine inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed.
The inspection report was written off-site – all details were reviewed with the Manager prior to writing the report. A copy of the inspection report and risk assessment were e-mailed to the Manager on May 13, 2020.
