Observation: Rat droppings were observed in the following areas:
1) To the left of the laundry machine
2) Next to the ice machine
3) Under the oven
Rodents can transmit disease and must be eliminated. Pest control company (Terminix) conducts biweekly inspections

Corrective Action(s): Clean/sanitize all areas on premises where rodent droppings are found. Ensure daily cleaning of under equipment and hard to reach areas to monitor for new activities and eliminate food debris that may be attracting rodents.

Observation: Bait boxes containing rodenticide were observed throughout the kitchen areas include under cookline, under dishwashing station inside dry storage room, under handsink by ice machine, etc. Rodents can transfer the poison on their feet/fur and contaminate food

Corrective Action(s): Remove all bait traps from the inside of the kitchen. These boxes can be placed outside. Use live traps instead. Contact pest control company and request that future bait boxes are not placed on the food premises.
