Introduction

An unscheduled/scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance with the exception of (list areas not reviewed at the routine inspection).

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated Feb 27,2020 there were 8 children and 2 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified.
Discussed implementing a system for recording fire drills that is readily accessible.
When Studio 2 is in use , stairs to be secured as reviewed.
As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.

Active Supervision, Cleaning and Sanitizing Schedule - Handwashing
Ø Reportable Incident Bulletin – reviewed the requirement to report to CCFL within 24 hours
