Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Handwash station paper towel dispenser was empty. Staff immediately refilled the dispenser with a paper towel roll.
2) Handwash station was obstructed with a bowl of vegetables inside the sink compartment. Staff removed the bowl immediately, allowing for easy access to the hand sink
Corrective Action(s): Ensure hand wash stations are always fully equipped with liquid soap, paper towels, and hot/cold running water. Hand wash stations should be easily accesible and not obstructed at all times

Observation: 1) Dry storage area shelves require improvement in terms of cleaning and sanitation. Food items are spilled on shelves.
2) Empty soda cans in container are overflowing. Operator explains there was a party the night before and have not had the chance to properly remove them yet
Corrective Action(s): 1)Clean and sanitize the dry storage area to remove all spilled food items and maintain a sanitary area
2)Soda cans are to be put into a larger container to avoid overflowing immediately. Then, remove the cans from the facility appropriately

Routine inspection conducted alongside operator

-Walk-in cooler measured at 4C and storage is good
-Prep cooler measured at 1C at lower compartment and 4C at top compartment
-Trunk freezer measured at -18C
-Both stand freezers in back area measured at -12C
-Dry storage is stored off the ground >15cm. See violation
-Low temperature dishwasher achieves 50ppm chlorine at plate level. Chlorine test strips are available and used - Good.
-Sanitizer solution in bucket measured at 200ppm. *Ensure cloth is stored in solution when not in use*
-3 compartment sink available with low temperature dishwasher
-Fan hoods are clean. Next service scheduled for March 10, 2022.
