-Walk-in cooler was at 2C; Walk-in freezer was at -18C.
-Bank cooler ranged from 1C to 4C.
-Chest freezers ranged from -12C to -30C.
-Random selection of canned food items were found to be within their best before dates. Staff are practicing proper stock rotation.
-Random selection of baby/infant formula/food was found to in good condition and within the expiry dates.
-Random selection of nutritional supplements were in good condition and within the expiry dates.
-Foods in the back storage and floor area properly stored off the floor.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-Facility serviced by a professional pest control operator - did not observe any signs of pests at the time of inspection.
*2 severely dented cans were removed from the store shelf. Ensure dented cans (especially along the seams) are not placed on the shelving units if they are found to be dented upon receiving or are removed from the shelving area if dented by customers while on display. The safety of severely dented cans cannot be guaranteed.
