Introduction

An unscheduled follow-up inspection to Routine Inspection # SMIA-CUTP8U dated 18 August 2023 was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSP). The previous outstanding contraventions were assessed for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

At the inspection dated September 15, 2023 there were fourteen children, three staff and the Manager present. Licensing conducted a walk-through of the entire facility.
Following was discussed with the Manager:
Compliance plan was submitted to Licensing to address the contraventions from routine inspection # SMIA-CUTP8U, this plan is still pending. Manager will inform licensing once pending items are fully addressed.
The inspection report was written on -site and details were reviewed with the Manager and ECE staff prior to writing the report.
