Observation: - Foods items (bag of onions, bag of sugar, bottled drinks) were stored in washroom where janitorial sink is located. Although this washroom is locked and not in use, this is not a suitable location for food storage.
Corrective Action(s): - Remove all food products from washroom and store within designated food storage areas within premises (ie. in cabinets in food preparation area). Do not store any food items in washrooms. [Date to be corrected by: 25-Feb-2022]

Comments

- Premises and equipment maintained in sanitary condition.
- Handwashing sink in food preparation/service area supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel.
- Coolers were operating at acceptable temperatures (4C or colder)
- Chest freezer was -17C
- Ice cream scoops stored in freezer. Operator reported milkshake machine and blender are cleaned and sanitized after each use.
*Ensure in use service utensils/scoops which are stored in hot water bath are washed and sanitized a minimum of every 4 hours.
- Food within food preparation/service area and in coolers was stored in a manner to prevent contamination
- Bleach sanitizer solution present/in use. Concentration measured 200ppm chlorine.
- High temperature dishwasher met required temperature to sanitize dishes. Temperature measured 74.3C (at plate level) with min/max thermometer.
- No signs of pest activity noted at the time of inspection.
- Operator present and has completed Foodsafe level 1.
