Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Food contact surface sanitizer measured >200 ppm, resulted in bleaching out the test paper. The sanitizer diluted down to 200 ppm at this time.

Observation: Observed a gap in between the back door and the door frame.
Corrective Action(s): Install door sweep or other means to block the gap to prevent pest from entering. Correct this by: September 22, 2022.

Observation: Dried food debris observed on the wall located adjacent to the prep sink.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize food debris in the observation section.

Observation: Onsite staffs does not have FoodSafe Level 1 or equivalent certificate at this time.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted:
Hand washing stations fully equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
All coolers measured at 4C or less.
Freezers at satisfactory temperature - foods in frozen state.
Hot holding measured >60C (rice, sauce, etc.).
Small amount of foods in an ambient temperature, held for 2 hours.
In use utensils stored in an empty clean containers.
Ice machine not in use.
Observed few flies in the kitchen; however, no sign of chronic pest activity noted at this time.

An unannounced follow-up inspection will be conducted within the next month to check FoodSafe Level 1 requirement.
A copy of director's FoodSafe Level 1 certificate to be emailed to the district Environmental Health Officer (kangmin.gu@fraserhealth.ca) by September 16, 2022, 4:00 PM.
Food Safety Plan and Sanitation Plan requirements are satisfactory.
