Permit to operate was visible in a conspicuous location.
Handsink was adequately supplied.
Staff member at the front was observed washing hands after handling money and prior to handling food.
Coolers were at or below 4 degrees C.
Freezers were at or below -18 degrees C.
Hot-held foods were at or above 60 degrees C.
Two probe thermometers and isopropyl alcohol wipes were available on-site.
It was reviewed that food must be cooked to at least 74 degrees C / 165 degrees F internally.
Temperature records were being maintained.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available from the dispenser and spray bottle.
A drain plug was available for the 3-compartment sink to set up sanitizer in the third compartment.
No signs of recent pest activity were observed at the time of inspection.
A pest control program was in place via Abell Pest Control on a monthly basis and the most recent report dating October 2017 was reviewed.

NOTE: It was discussed that FOODSAFE Level 1 certificates issued prior to July 29, 2013 will expire on July 29, 2018. The Operator and at least once staff member in the absence of the operator must maintain valid FOODSAFE/equivalent course training (e.g. through successfully completing the FOODSAFE Level 1 course again or the FOODSAFE Level 1 refresher course).
