Observation: Rodent droppings were found in the deli and bakery area and a dead rodent was found in the metal tin cat monitoring station. Improvements have been observed since last month. Facility is serviced by a professional pest control operator twice a week.
Corrective Action(s): Continue to employ the services of a professional pest control operator to control the pest infestation and implement control measures to prevent further infestation. Continue to clean and sanitize all food contact surfaces before starting food preparation on a daily basis.

Corrective Action(s): Ensure daily cleaning is carried out the facility. Continue to clean all areas affected by rodent droppings and sanitize using a 1:10 bleach solution and monitor for activity.

-Follow-up inspection to January 26, 2023.
-Facility continues to use professional pest control services, twice per week. Pest infestation has improved since the last inspection - much fewer droppings were observed in the kitchen. Continue to use pest control strategies to prevent further infestation. If pest infestation worsens, contact your pest control operator to determine potential entry points for rodents.
-Staff stated the do not see food packaging being torn open in the mornings.
-All food contact surfaces are sanitized at the start of the day, prior to food preparation.
-Please contact the inspector if you have any questions or concerns.
-Signature not required due to COVID-19.
