302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Operator purchased high temperature dishwasher detergent for chemical dishwasher. Detergent was found to neutralize chlorine disinfectant Corrective Action(s): Purchase the correct detergent for the chemical/low temperature dishwasher to ensure dishware and utensils are properly cleaned, prior to sanitizing. Detergent feed line was bled and chlorine was tested at 50ppm on the dish surface. Operator will wash dishes by hand, prior to sanitizing in the dishwasher. Rewash and sanitize all dishware and utensils. Violation Score: 15

-Follow-up inspection to June 6, 2019. Public Health Act Correction Order was issued. -Operator has serviced chemical dishwasher and chemical feeder has been replaced. Chemical dishwasher was able to properly dispenser chlorine disinfectant. -Ensure chemical dishwasher is tested and recorded at least daily to verify the proper sanitizer disinfectant level. -Conditions of the Public Health Act Correction Order issued June 6, 2019 has been rescinded. -Please contact the inspector if you have any questions or concerns.
