Observation: Mechanical dishwasher has no sanitizer detected. Sanitizer available in jug but does not appear to be pumped into unit.
Detergent line appears to not be dispensing into unit - line later was noted to be crushed by detergent jug. Once jug was lifted and line freed, detergent began to dispense into unit.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure dishwasher is functioning properly and is able to sanitize dishware in the final rinse at 50-100 ppm chlorine.

Operator has called unit in for service and will be adding a manual sanitizing step in 1 compartment of 3 comp sink noted at 50 ppm chlorine. Ensure dishwashing staff are aware of the critical sanitizing step and dishware is manually sanitized until dishwasher unit is functioning properly.

Contact Fraser Health once unit is operational again.

Observation: 1. Prawns thawing in container placed in janitor slop sink.
2. Dry food (Huskless split mung beans, variety of spices) stored in bins in electrical room on cart.
Corrective Action(s): 1.Ensure all food is prepared in a designated food prep sink and not a dirty sink (janitor slop sink). Relocate food to designated clean sink.
2. Ensure all food is stored in food storage areas only and not electrical room. Relocate food.

-Sanitizer buckets noted at 100 ppm chlorine with wiping cloths.

-Ice machine and scooper holder appears to be in sanitary condition
-No signs of pest activity noted - no pest control devices noted
*Recommend getting some pest control devices onsite immediately to protect premises in case pest status changes.
*If unable to monitor pest activity then get pest control contract in place
