Report of Findings
Licensing received a complaint on November 5, 2019 alleging concerns regarding Care and Supervision and Records and Reporting.

The following details were provided:
- A person in care was not provided adequate care
- A representative was not provided with notification an an illness.

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was reviewed from facility records, policies and procedures, interviews and a collaboration report from Long Term Care Services.

The following contraventions were determined:
- Residential Care Regulation (RCR), Section 82 Implementation of care plans
- RCR, Section 68 (4) Medication safety and advisory committee

Observation: Medication safety and advisory committee policies and procedures were not complied to.

34780 - RCR s.82A licensee must ensure that the care and supervision of a person in care is consistent with the terms and conditions of the person in care's care plan.
Observation: Documentation to demonstrate implementation of care plan insufficient.
