Introduction

A scheduled inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSOP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At this inspection dated May 26, 2020, there were 2 children and the Licensee present. No contraventions were identified. Licensing conducted a walk-through of the entire facility.
The following was discussed with the licensee:
· COVID-19 prevention strategies
· Emergency supplies
· Fire drills
· Outdoor play space

As part of the routine inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed.
The inspection report was written off-site due to COVID-19 protocol – all details were reviewed with the Licensee prior to writing the report. A copy of the inspection report and risk assessment were e-mailed to the Licensee on May 26, 2020.
