-Home based kitchen - kitchen is currently not in use,
-No food items were stored in the kitchen at the time of inspection.
-Refrigerator/freezer was at 2C/-16C.
-Handwashing station shared with 2 compartment sink. Easily accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Bleach available on-site for preparing sanitizing solution when kitchen is used. Provided signage for mixing and preparing of sanitizing solution. Do not use fiberguard bleach.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
*Foodsafe certificates issued prior to July 29, 2013 (no expiry date) expire on July 29, 2018. In order to recertify, students must successfully complete a FoodSafe Level 1 course or online refresher course (foodsafe.ca).
