Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Contraventions
Previous Inspection -
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated Jan. 05, 2024 there were 16 children and 5 staff present.The manager was also on-site and assisted Licensing for the whole duration of the inspection. At this inspection, no contraventions were identified. This report was reviewed with the facility manager during the inspection.

As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.

The following recommendations/discussions were provided:
- Playground daily checks before children use the space
- Care Plans and procedures
- Reportable Incident procedures
