Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No sanitizer solution was available at time of inspection. Bleach available on-site.
-Staff made sanitizer solution in bucket. Measured at 100ppm chlorine.
-Ensure a sanitizer solution for food contact surfaces (between 100-200ppm chlorine) is readily available at all times in food prep areas. Recommend having a labelled spray bottle or designated sanitizer bucket.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Handsink in kitchen area did not have paper towels.
-Staff restocked paper towels at time of inspection.

2) Soap dispenser in bar area is not mounted to the wall.
-Remount soap dispenser or provide hand soap pump that is easily accessible for staff to use.

*Ensure handsinks are equipped with liquid soap and paper towels at all times for staff to properly and frequently wash hands.

Observation: Items stored directly on the ground in back area. General clutter of items noted in dry storage areas. These conditions may promote pest activity. Some fly activity noted in back area and customer service area.
Corrective Action(s): -Store items off the ground to enhance pest monitoring and cleaning.
-Organize items and remove items that are not needed to reduce clutter.

Observation: 1) Large amount of grease build-up noted on ventilation hood. Service sticker on side of vent hood does not indicate the next service date or when it was last serviced.

2) Several spills of food and grease noted beside and underneath cooking units.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Service ventilation hood to remove grease build-up. Ensure ventilation hood is regularly cleaned at least every 6 months.

Observation: 1) Handsink in bar area is missing the cold knob. Soap dispenser is not mounted to the wall. Staff need to lift dispenser up to access liquid soap.

2) 2-door cooler in kitchen area has a loose handle on right side and a metal screw is used for the left side.

3) Prep cooler had large amount of water dripping on the left side. Water noted on the bottom of the prep cooler and water was leaking onto the floor.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Repair and replace cold knob at the handsink. Remount soap dispenser.
-Date to be corrected by: 1 week

2) Repair handles of 2-door cooler. Prep cooler is frequently opened and closed by staff. A metal screw cannot be easily cleaned or sanitized. Ensure surfaces in food premises are smooth, easily cleanable, and non-absorbent.

Bar Area:
-2-door undercounter cooler (front): 4C
-2-door undercounter glass cooler: in use - was in defrosting cycle. Temperature observed to be dropping when cycle ended.

-Handsinks are equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels. *See Code 401.
-High-temperature dishwasher measured 76.8C at plate surface.
-Ice machine is clean.
-Food storage is satisfactory - raw meats are stored separately from ready-to-eat foods.
-Adequate amount of single-use mouth pieces for hookah are available.
-Health permit posted. *See Code 103. Please ensure permit fee is paid within 10 working days. Post new decal to permit.

-No signature obtained due to COVID-19 protocols. Report printed and reviewed with staff.
