Observation: Two sink plugs were not in good working order.
Corrective Action(s): Two sink plugs are still on order according to the Manager. Contact the Environmental Health Officer to provide an update once you receive the two functional/adequately sized sink plugs. Single functional sink plug on-site was observed to be in use to hold chlorine sanitizer in the third compartment sink during the inspection.

Observation: A small amount of debris was present inside the ice machine.
Correction: Drain the ice and clean and sanitize the interior surface in accordance with manufacturer's instructions to maintain in a clean condition; Correct today.

Observation: Interior surfaces of ice machine had black mould/debris present.
Correction: Drain, clean and sanitize the interior of the ice machine in accordance with manufacturer's specifications; Correct today. Do not use the ice until the ice machine has been drained, cleaned and sanitized to maintain in a clean condition; Correct immediately.
Comments

Follow up inspection:
-Interior surfaces of ice machine had been cleaned and sanitized to remove mould/black debris. Monitor the cleanliness of the interior of the ice machine and clean and sanitize on a regular basis (e.g. weekly basis) to maintain in a clean condition.
-Floor below the shelving units and floor exterior to walk-in-freezer had been cleaned and disinfected to remove rodent droppings. Deep cleaning had been conducted to other hard-to-reach floor corners/areas and front cabinets according to the Manager as well.
-Front cabinets were in a clean condition at the time of inspection.
-Monitor for signs of pest activity and continue the pest control measures: pest control program to re-service traps, regular cleaning and sanitizing, keeping food and contact surfaces protected from potential contamination, and sealing potential entry points.
