Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION):
Premises has an expired health permit decal due to failure to pay the yearly health permit fees, which were due in April 2023.
Corrective Action(s):
Immediately pay the permit fees of $150 or closure of the premises will occur. During the inspection, staff paid the permit fees in cash.

Comments

A routine inspection was completed:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezers -21C or colder; hot holding units above 60C; and thermometers present.
- High temperature dishwasher had a rinse cycle temp of 79.8C at the plate's surface, as per max/min thermometer.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Bleach sanitizer in spray bottles and cloth buckets had [Cl2] of 200ppm.
- All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; date coded; foods stored in groups with raw proteins separate from RTE foods; and foods stored 6" off the floor on shelves and racks.
- No expired foods found in use or for sale. FIFO rules being followed.
- All equipment and surfaces are in good working order.
- General sanitation level is good. Staff have been maintaining the sanitation level very well.
- Proper degreaser, floor cleaner in use. Laundry soap is no longer being used.
- The unused exhaust canopy has been cleaned of accumulated grease.
- Next professional cleaning and service of the exhaust canopy being used, is due in September 2023.
- Staff possesses a valid FoodSafe certificate. Manager/owner is in the process of completing the course.
- Outstanding permit fees of $150 paid via cash.
