Introduction

A modified scheduled follow up inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). To support the care of essential service workers children in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the focus of this inspection will mainly be on the health & hygiene practices, the physical premise, and any potential high risk concerns. A risk screening tool was completed prior to conducting today’s inspection.

No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

At the inspection dated October 1, 2020 there were 23 children and 7 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified.
The contents of this inspection were discussed on-site, however the completion of the Facility Inspection Report was conducted off-site (time spent .25 hours) and were sent to the Licensee/Manager via (email/mail).

Health and hygiene practises were discussed, are currently in place at all times and the COVID 19 Infection Control Assessment was completed during this inspection; recommendations made for ensuring children's files are up to date with all contact information current. A walk through was conducted; no high risk concerns noted.
