Observation: - Container of sugar water stored on floor in amongst rodent droppings.
- Lack of sanitizer solution upon arrival of EHO.
CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION - sanitizer solution made and sugar water discarded.
- Rodent droppings observed on shelves - under microwave
- Rodent droppings observed on counter - under tea machines
- Blenders only washed once per day. Facility is currently rinsing after each use and washing in dishwasher at end of the day. This is not frequently enough.

Corrective Action(s): - NO FOOD TO BE STORED ON FLOOR. Invest in shelving. Remove any items not necessary for business from shelves and use what space is available in the kitchen.
- Sanitizer solution is to be made first thing each day prior to the start of food preparation. Staff were shown how to properly make sanitizer solution during inspection. This must be made daily, used throughout the day and changed frequently as sanitizer solution becomes less strong as it is used.
- Cleaning and sanitizing of areas of concern. Use 200ppm Chlorine or equivalent solution. Remove all items from counters and shelves. Clean and sanitize contaminated areas.
- Blenders are to be washed rinsed and sanitized in dishwasher every 2-4 hours or more as required.

- Coolers achieving temperatures of less than or equal to 4 degrees Celsius
- Freezers achieving temperatures of less than or equal to -18 degrees Celsius
- Dishwasher achieving final sanitizing rinse of greater than or equal to 72 (82) Degrees Celsius at the dish
- Ice machine in good sanitary condition
- All food items covered in cooler and freezer units
- Back door closed during inspection
- Light covers in place
- Good hand washing practices observed

Issues from today's inspection discussed with store Manager "David" via telephone.
Current sanitary condition of facility is not acceptable. Going forward the facility must complete more throghough and frequent cleaning. To avoid further violations of Food Premises Regulation review this inspection report with staff. These items must be understood by all staff and addressed.
