Comments

Inspection conducted to follow up with items discussed during last week's (July 20, 2021) inspection regarding facility's pest control:

Discussed with store manager on site.
- Droppings were removed from all areas mentioned on the previous report. Staff to check all areas every morning and evening, and remove droppings when observed. Sanitize all affected areas using 1000ppm chlorine (1:50) as discussed at this time.
- All damaged food products have been discarded. Food contained in pest proof containers and off the floor in deli department.
- Relocation of food products in areas with most activities.
- Discussed with property manager to have the exterior of the building better managed.

Due to the limited storage space at the back, ensure to have the area organized and cleaned on a more regular basis to keep the area in a sanitary manner. Ensure to have all food debris removed from floor after each shift. Ensure the back door is closed when not receiving deliveries/taking out garbage.

Continue with increased frequency of pest control inspection as mentioned above until situation resolves/improves. Please contact the health inspector for any questions or concerns.
