Follow up inspection: -Owner/Operator mentioned over phone that they have completed the FOODSAFE Level 1 refresher course and would forward the district EHO a copy of their FOODSAFE Level 1 refresher certificate for verification purposes. -Owner/Operator mentioned that two of their staff members at this location have undertaken the FOODSAFE Level 1 course and are waiting for their Level 1 certificates to be mailed to them. -Single staff member working on shift in the absence of the Operator had taken FOODSAFE Level 1 on 2010-02-28 which expired July 29, 2018. Please either successfully re-complete and pass a complete FOODSAFE Level 1 or a FOODSAFE Level 1 refresher course to maintain valid FOODSAFE Level 1 training if you are planning to work in a food service establishment in the absence of the Operator/other employee(s) with valid FOODSAFE Level 1/equivalent course training. -Information was provided regarding renewals of the FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate.
