Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Equipment is still being stored in the common hallway area, which other businesses have access. Area was also found to have pest infestation during previous inspections.
Corrective Action(s): All equipment must be stored in the facility. Items which are no longer used are to be removed/discarded. Items were relocated into the facility at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Follow-up inspection to June 20, 2018.
-Operator with valid FoodSafe Level 1 training was present in the facility at the time of inspection. Operator has also renewed FoodSafe Level 1 - valid until May 2023.
-Chemical dishwasher had a final rinse of 50ppm chlorine on the dish surface (minimum 50ppm required for proper sanitizing). Staff are checking the dishwasher on a daily basis to verify proper sanitizer concentration.
-Utensils were found to be clean and sanitary.
-Did not observe any potentially hazardous foods stored at room temperature at the time of inspection.
-Food items are no longer stored in cardboard boxes. Foods are stored in containers which are smooth, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable.
-General cleaning of door seals and walk-in cooler has been carried out. Ensure facility is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition at all times to prevent potential pest attraction. Door seals for prep cooler will need to be replaced or repaired.
-Operator has receipt for Health Permit fee (dated July 16, 2018).
