Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection:
At the inspection dated July 8, 2019 there were 6 children and 2 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified.
As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided
During inspection the following resource was provided:
 Reportable Incident Bulletin

During inspection Licensing discussed the maintenance plan for the outdoor fencing with staff. Staff stated when paint begins to peel on the fences, the fence boards are scraped and repainted.

During inspection Licensing observed children engaged in free play in the outdoor area, as well as waking from nap & having lunch.
During inspection Licensing observed staff interacting with children while they were engaged in activities as well as giving warnings in times of transition.
