Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Standing water observed in main sink in the front area. Staff noted that utensils are rinsed and then soaked in hot water.
Corrective Action(s): Drain and clean sink. Do not leave standing water in the sink as this may encourage pest activity. Utensils should be washed and sanitized every 2 hours.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handsink in back area was blocked with a pot lid.
Corrective Action(s): Staff removed pot lid at time of inspection. Ensure hand sink is accessible to staff at all times for proper hand hygiene and sanitation.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Found electrical wires in a bowl containing uncut ginger in the back area.
2) Metal bowl is being used as an ice scooper for the ice machine in the front area.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Move bowl of ginger to food prep area. Ensure food is covered and protected from contamination. Correct by: today
2) Use a scoop with a handle for handling ice to minimize contamination. Correct by: today

Observation: Several fruit flies and drain flies were observed in the front area near the main sink containing standing water.
Corrective Action(s): Drain and sanitize main sink. Do not leave standing water in the sink. Contact a pest control technician for further assistance.

Observation: 1) Grease build-up and food debris noted under cooking units in back area.
2) External storage area inspected. Found packaged food items stored directly on the ground.
3) Observed dry storage items, such as single-use chopsticks, being stored on top of the grease traps.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Wash and sanitize floors in this area to minimize pest activity. Correct by: 1 week
2) Ensure foods are stored at least 6 inches off the ground to enhance cleaning and monitoring of pests.
3) Remove items and move to dry storage area. Do not store items directly on top of grease traps.

-Adequate food storage in cooler units as foods are covered.
-Ice machine is clean and sanitary.
