Report of Findings
Community Care Facilities Licensing (CCFL) received information that the care being provided at this address may require a Community Care Facility Licence.
Licensing Officers were on site July 13, 2022 and July 15, 2022. Licensing confirmed there were times when the care provider was caring for 3-4 children unrelated to them by blood or marriage.

Licensing determined Jody Chambers Klassen was operating an unlicensed facility in contravention of the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA).

The following contravention was cited:
- Community Care Assisted Living Act section 5(a) Operating or advertising without a licence

Licensing confirmed the operator has reduced the number of children in care to no more than two children unrelated to them or one sibling group. The Licensing Officer will conduct a follow up inspection to confirm ongoing compliance.

- Operator to submit written confirmation to Licensing Office that they have reduced the number of children or persons receiving care to 1 or 2 who are not related by blood or marriage to the person.
- Operator to submit written confirmation that they understand the requirements of the CCALA regarding the number of persons they may provide care to without a licence
