Comments

Met with owner and discussed the following issues with owner/operator from our last inspection conducted in March, 2017:

Violation 209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
All food to be stored in the food grade containers. Please do not re-use old cans for food storage.

Violation 302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Always/daily check the chlorine concentration in your low temp. dishwasher. Test strips are available so please use them daily.

Violation 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
General sanitation of premises improved since our last inspection. Thank you.
Owner reorganized the front of the house and now he is doing improvements in the back, storage and cooking area. (Resurfacing old wooden shelving, replacing old equipment with new...)

Violation 401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Hand washing station in the kitchen is very important part of your food safety and prevention. Ensure hand washing station is easily accessible and fully equipped with liquid soap, paper towels and hot/cold running water at all times.

Outstanding permit fee - paid. Thank you
