Code 302 noted on Routine inspection # JELR-BLK2FV of Feb-06-2020 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)] Observation: Glassware washer has a full sanitizer bottle and test strips area available. Final rinse water (warm water) was tested and iodine sanitizer is available but concentration was tested and is below 12.5ppm. Correction: Increase the level of sanitizer so that 12.5ppm iodine is detected on the test strip when testing the final rinse water.

Comments

Follow up inspection. Glassware washer has a final sanitizing rinse - good. Cleaning - continue to follow a routine cleaning schedule (kitchen floor etc.). Currently staff are cleaning - good! Quats in spray bottle an also chlorine bleach are available for sanitizing surfaces - good. No evidence of pests.
