Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance.

Contraventions
Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR #LPEN-AVDVUM have been corrected.
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection
At the inspection dated January 11, 2019 there were 7 children and 1 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified.
Licensee and Licensing Officer discussed that the outdoor play space was not in use due to recent storm. Licensee stated that the following would be cleaned up before use:
broken wooden bench, broken flower pot with sharp edges, green plastic mesh material by cedar trees in play climber area, which poses a tripping hazard.

As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy provided.
