Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Staff member observed using cloth towel to dry hands.
Corrective Action(s): Staff to immediately discontinue this practice as towels may potentially reintroduce contamination onto hands. Single use paper towels to be used only. Staff member rewashed hands and dried with paper towel.

Observation: Ice machine has buildup of mildew / biofilm on interior surfaces.
Vegetable slicer observed with dried on food.
Correction: Ice to be discarded and ice machine to be properly cleaned and sanitized. Ensure ice machine is maintained in sanitary condition and cleaned and sanitized as often as necessary to limit potential contamination of ice. Date to be corrected by: Today.
Vegetable slicer placed into dishwashing area to be re-cleaned and sanitized. Ensure equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized prior to storing away.

Follow up to report MBEK-CUQTT6.
Equipment and utensils in sanitary condition. Ice machine cleaned and sanitized since yesterday.
Chemical spray bottles labeled.
Dry food product protect from potential contamination. No insects/contamination observed (bucket of dry food product noted on the most recent routine inspection report was discarded during yesterday's inspection).
Raw and ready-to-eat food properly organized.
Some rodent droppings were still observed on the floor of the storage room. Storage room floor cleaned during inspection. A copy of the most recent pest control report dated July 25, 2023 was reviewed during the inspection. Noted pest control recommendations to be followed.
