Observation: Dirty kitchen and dishware

3. Blender at bar is sticky (after cleaning in prep sink by staff)
4. Dry cloth left on dirty counter
5. "Clean side" of dishwasher is blocked by dish storage rack
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all dirty dishes are placed in the dishpit after use. Do not leave or store dirty dishes.
Clear the "clean" side of the dishwasher to allow the clean dishes to be removed without being contaminated by the "dirty" side.

Observation: 1. No sanitizer solution available in back kitchen.
2. When sanitizer was being prepared after being asked by EHO, staff grabbed F.O.G. Cleaner (oven cleaner) solution to prepare sanitizer solution = 0 ppm chlorine detected
3. Front of house / bar sanitizer bucket with wiping cloths available next to 2 jugs of bleach - solution noted at 0 ppm chlorine.
4. Low temp dishwasher has sanitizer in jug and is being dispensed into dishwasher during operation - <10 ppm chlorine being detected after final rinse
Corrective Action(s): Ensure sanitizer solution is available during operation at 100 ppm chlorine with clean wiping cloths. All food contact surfaces and dishes must be maintained in sanitary condition.

Observation: Back door propped open with piece of wood.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure the back door remains closed at all times when not in use to prevent possible pest entry into facility. Staff state the door needs to be open to allow staff to come in - use the front door.

Observation: Dishwasher dispensing sanitizer - <10 ppm chlorine detected after final rinse.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure dishwasher is capable of sanitizing dishes at 50 - 100 ppm chlorine. Repair unit to ensure it functions properly.

Observation: 1.Hallway walls where inserts are stored are chipping as the inserts and supplies scrap the walls.
2. 2 tiles noted under the cooking equipment (under a burner) has lifted.
Corrective Action(s): 1.Ensure all walls, floors and ceiling surfaces are maintained in good condition - smooth, durable and easy to clean. Install a protective barrier along the wall to protect it from continued damage.
2. Repair all lifted tiles before more tiles continue to lift and leaves gaps in the floor. These gaps will trap moisture and food debris and will become difficult to clean.

***Discussed with staff about the requirement of a Covid Safety Plan as per WorkSafeBC and the requirements of the Provincial Health Order
-Business has moved to a take-out only model with currently no dine in option
-Mask wearing is optional for staff

-No covid signage
*FHA will provide a copy of guidelines and covid signage reviewed during inspection. A copy of the WorkSafeBC Covid Safety Plan template/checklist and link will also be emailed to the operator.
